We've got a lot to talk about on today's show. Of course, the injury report. Of course,

the keys to victory, the X factor, all of that. But we also had a trade go down in the NBA

late last night, the Cavs and the Kings, sending out a couple players that the Lakers have been connected to,

Keon Ellis and DeAndre Hunter, as well as our old friend, Dennis Schroeder, Dario Sarich, also in the trade.

I'm going to talk a little bit about that and what it really means for your Los Angeles Lakers.

Before I get into the matchup against the Knicks tonight, the injury updates and all

of that, let's just dive into this trade.

So King's Cavs come up with this trade.

And this was rumored yesterday morning.

Michael Scoto of Hoopsight had it.

And it does come to fruition. The Cavs send DeAndre

Hunter to the Sacramento Kings for Dennis Schrooter and Keon Ellis. Now, I did a much more in-depth

breakdown of this trade over on the basketball bulletin and giving my thoughts on it, but here's

sort of the Cliff Notes version. I don't fully understand what the Kings are doing from a value perspective here.

The Kings were rumored to want a first round pick

and perhaps to have someone take on the salary of like a Malik Monk in exchange for Keon Ellis.

And yet here they trade Keon Ellis for a guy in DeAndre Hunter,
