All right, welcome back to the study of Elijah. Today's going to be a little bit different.

Thus far, I've been kind of wearing the Prophet at.

So every week is demons and government and culture and

head-on collisions and kind of you know Halloween meets Rob zombie on Marty-Graw kind of

of situation where we find ourselves today I'm going to take the prophet hat off,

I'm going to put the pastor hat on.

This is really about one man's deep struggle

and how he takes it to the Lord.

And so for us and our time together, we're going to be in 1st Kings

chapter 19 if you've got a Bible find that place and the question we're going to

answer is what causes and cure spiritual depression and the timing of this message is really interesting because this is

mental health awareness month and this is the first weekend of

Mental Health Awareness Month.

And I've been teaching God's word now for almost 30 years

or around 30 years altogether.

And what I find is when you open the Bible,

it always works and fits.
