Welcome to the Breakpoint podcast. I'm Shane Morris. And as John and I promised last week, I believe, on Breakpoint this week, we're expanding our question and answer session to its own segment that's going to be released every week on the podcast. And I'm really excited about this, John, because the question and answer session has been our most free-form feature. We get to really go far afield and talk about all kinds of topics that don't come up that

often on Breakpoint or things that have come up on Breakpoint or Breakpoint this week or any of our

other programs. And then listeners or readers want to talk about them. They want us to unpack the

issues more and really get to the heart

of questions that are burning in their minds. So we've got a number of questions here today that

we're going to devote some special time to answering. And I'll just dive right into them here

for you, John, so we can get the discussion going. The first comes from someone who wants to know

about the rise of anti-Semitism. We talked recently about this

in a breakpoint commentary. This person says, given what's happening in Europe, what can we as

individuals do and not do other than just expect our government officials to take care of the whole

situation? Again, this is in reference to the recent spate of vandalisms against

Jewish cemeteries over in Europe, and then the rise of anti-Semitism here in the U.S.

That's been sort of going on for the last couple of years.

Yeah, and that was my first thought, is that it's certainly not just Europe.

We've had an incredible rise. In fact, I think this question was probably in response to a breakpoint commentary

that we did several days ago, maybe a couple weeks ago. Yes, it was. On the rise of anti-Semitism.

And it is something that, you know, it's something that will never go away. Earlier this week,

we talked about the genocide and China. And the willingness to use the term genocide is kind of half the

battle, right? And the willingness to call out anti-Semitism for what it is is a real big part of it.

I think that one of the answers to these questions, other than what can we as individuals do,

I mean, certainly there's always something to do about teaching the next generation,

including, I think, as Christians, teaching the next generation about kind of the spiritual
