All right. I want to read you something that somebody from our community chat put out to us.

And it was kind of a statement and also a request with respect to this episode.

He said, I've noticed many right wing people seem to just do things like react to videos of crazy libs and mock them and talk about how stupid they are without actually doing anything.

Yes, they've pointed out flaws. The question is, how do we fix them? And I want to thank

EO for offering this as a suggestion for an episode because what we're going to do today is we're

going to attempt to answer a couple of things. One, we're going to try to look at what are some of the core philosophical differences

between people that align with the left and the right.

And we're going to talk about some of the surveys and some of the concepts and ideas behind

this to kind of explain that.

Where are we coming at from a fundamental standpoint?

We're also going to talk about some of the most controversial issues that come up

and left-wing arguments to those, right-wing arguments to those.

But one of the most important things that we're going to try to distinguish is how do you

identify between someone that wants to have an honest conversation and somebody that just

wants to argue?

And I don't mean in I don't mean in the

traditional professional sense or the traditional sense of sitting down and going back and forth

and forming syllogisms. I mean somebody that just kind of wants to trash you or gaslight you.

Because the bottom line is part of the reason why so many people have just decided that I'm done,

I'm done having a rational conversation with people that don't want to be rational

is because of the gaslighting.
