Justin is the president of the Ann Campaign and he's appeared on the Good Faith Podcast

before, but he only got to have the conversation with David French because I was on sabbatical

and David French doesn't believe in sabbatical, so he fielded the conversation.

And this is my chance to make good and to have my own direct conversation with Justin

Thanks so much for joining us here on Good Faith.

Curtis, thanks for having me glad to be here.

So the topic that Justin and I are going to be talking about is what does the black

church teach all of us?

What can the black church teach us all?

And the reason for this topic, how it arose, was that I'm a follower of Justin's work

at the Ann Campaign for a variety of reasons.

So for those of you who aren't aware, the Ann Campaign is really a trailblazer, I believe,

in the church today, in formulating and reforming the Christian political identity.

And obviously this is a project that is dear to my heart.

It's very congruent with the work that David French, Russell Moore and I are doing with
