All right, well, good morning and welcome to our teaching on Sunday mornings. We're going verse by

verse in our study through the Bible, and today we are in 1st Timothy, and our text will be verses 12 through

16 in chapter 1. Those of you that are here can turn there if you're not there already. But before we get

started, I wanted to let you know about this Thursday, August 6th at 7 p.m. here. We'll begin with

worship and then we'll live stream it at 7.30 p.m. Hawaii time. We're going to have Kalo TV here for a panel discussion that is titled

Social Justice, a Kingdom Perspective. And my assistant pastor Mack, along with Samuel Garner,

will answer questions moderated by Malala Poe

of Kalo TV on how this current generation is being misled and deceived, and how the Black

Lives Matter movement has been able to create this culture of division,

especially with young people.

And this is kind of what it's going to be geared towards.

And they're also going to discuss where those who believe in Jesus Christ should stand on these issues and the appropriate

response from the church as well. So if you're able to come, we'd certainly encourage you

to do so. You might want to come come early we are expecting a lot of people

and it will be live streamed on collo's app we'll live stream it on youtube actually it's going to

be live streamed on collo's youtube channel as well and then it will be aired on collo tv afterwards as well. So I want to let you know about that.

word. I've been really looking forward to today's teaching. I think you're going to see why here

in a moment. Chapter 1, verses 12 through

The Apostle Paul is writing to Timothy, a young pastor, and in verse 12, says, I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength,

that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service, even though, verse 13, I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man,
