| 0:23.9 | by the writings of C.S. Lewis. Let me say a little bit about Lewis. You all probably know |
| 0:31.3 | something about Lewis, probably read some work of Lewis, I mean, an enormously productive scholar |

| 0:38.3 | scholarly works on medieval and Renaissance literature and philosophy. |
| 0:43.3 | He also wrote lots of fiction. You're probably familiar with the Narnia series. |
| 0:47.3 | We were just talking about what I think is his best piece of fiction until we have faces. |
| 0:51.3 | He also wrote Christian Apologetics. He wrote this odd little set of letters, |
| 0:57.0 | the screw tape letters. One of the interesting things about Lewis's legacy, he's had a huge influence |
| 1:02.6 | in Christian apologetics, of course. But the interesting things about his legacy is the way in which |
| 1:09.5 | people have found resources for drama so that |
| 1:12.7 | there's a kind of one-man play of the screw tape performance of the screw tape letters that goes |
| 1:18.3 | around the country there was an off-broadway play that is called Freud's last session which |
| 1:25.3 | I think is probably the most interesting of the dramatic |
| 1:28.4 | performances, was actually based on a script that was based on a book that was based on a class at |
| 1:36.7 | Harvard, taught by a psychologist, and it was a class that was about Freud and Lewis. |
| 1:45.0 | And Professor Nicoli, there's a PBS special on this. |
| 1:49.0 | And then the book is called The Question of God. |
| 1:52.0 | And he may still be teaching it for all I know. |
| 1:55.0 | But the class had a huge wait list. |
