And today we are talking about what books are taught in high school English classes.

So let's get into some highs and lows. I feel like I'd like to give a general disclaimer that I'm slightly drunk.

I was not drunk when we did these interviews, but I am slightly drunk now.

Well, tell me about your high. Oh, should I not say that we're together in Philly? Oh no, yeah. I think it makes most of us.

I'm not drunk alone in my apartment on Zoom. It's a Friday and it is 5.32 p.m.

And we have been recording all day. We got pizza. We've walking around and I opened a bottle of wine at some point in there.

And the bottle of wine is gone. It is finished. But we are just getting started. So Becca, that transition.

It's transition was flawless. Thank you. Becca, tell me you're high.

So my high is that I finished the fourth draft of my book on Monday, which I am very excited about.

So I sent it to my agent for another round of notes. And then I think the goal is to tackle those notes kind of the next two weeks.

Hopefully, slightly less big picture notes, more granular notes. And the goal right now is to try to go on submission by the end of the month.

Going on submission meeting, trying to sell my book to a publisher.

I am so excited. We just had a very long discussion before we hit record about book stuff. I am so excited for Becca.

And I have to tell you all, I'm reading the third draft.

Not the current draft. I'm behind draft or two is what I mean. But it is so entirely unique and also 100% Becca.

I'm so impressed. It's so smart. I can't wait for you all to read it. Thank you so much. That just means so much.

I'm terrified. I'm excited. I don't know. I feel like this process is going to determine my next few months, few years.

I don't know. So I'm just like really, I don't know how I feel. Big feelings.

It's big. It's really big. It's a huge dream being met. So we're all rooting for you.
