They talk about what they experienced, what they regret, and what they would have done differently. #SwipingSafely is our Pride month campaign dedicated to raising awareness around the exploitation of LGBTQ+ youth in online spaces and how we can facilitate safer experiences. 0:23.1	personally used apps like Grindr Tinder Bumble or have experienced some sort of grooming or
0:29.3	predatory behavior and they're both going to be anonymous because we want to protect the privacy
0:34.8	and they were also very vulnerable and we want to respect that. So it will be audio only and you
0:42.2	will not know their names. I'm so sorry. You will not know their names but you will know their
0:47.0	ages and their experiences which I think is more than enough to understand what they're going through.
0:51.6	This was a really cool episode and thank you to both individuals for talking to me. It was really
0:56.9	great. We had such a good experience just being able to hear what they have gone through, what they
1:03.2	felt, what they regretted and what they wished they would have done differently and they both
1:07.8	gave some really great advice on what to do and what not to do. So, that further to do,
1:13.7	here's the first person. So now we have an 18 year old from SoCal that is going to be joining us
1:20.3	to talk about his experience on Grindr. So, B or like you said, Boba, whenever when did you first
1:28.5	start using Grindr? I started using Grindr when I was 16 years old. 16? Yeah. So you were
1:38.3	junior in high school or you were senior? I was in my junior year of high school. Wow. Why did you
1:45.0	start using it? I think I was starting to get into trying to figure out more about my sexuality
1:57.2	and at the time there wasn't really a safe place to kind of talk about and initiate kind of
2:05.6	conversations surrounding sexuality without being kind of targeted or whatnot. So, I was also in a
2:16.7	sports team during this time and I knew a lot of my peers would talk about and like reference the
2:26.4	app and I felt like curious about like the community and so I was very hesitant and kind of downloaded
2:39.2	it but like didn't really like log into it until like I had some courage but initially it was more so
