Book of Romans chapter 8 verses 18 to 30 we're just reading as you guys well know we're in the fourth

part of the section that is verses 18 to 23 and we're looking at a message series titled

what are you waiting for as believers we don't have anything to wait for in fact we have every reason

to be busy about our father's business and to love on people to speak the truth and they may not

like the gospel truth because the gospel itself is offensive Jesus died on the cross for our sins

that's now become offensive Jesus rose again from the dead because we need redemption and

justification now somehow that's become offensive but it is the truth and Jesus did that for you

all of us there's not one sin that you and I can commit that's greater than Christ's blood

to forgive and that's good news so listen I'll begin reading in verse 18 if you'll pick it up

church family in verse 19 nice and loud if you would for I consider that the sufferings of this

present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us

for the creation was subjected to futility not willingly but because of him that's

God who subjected it in hope

because creation itself also will be there on this oppression these are the worries that we have

children have. Verse 22 for we know that the whole creation grounds and labors with birth

together until now

Heavenly Father I pray that you would grant us the maturity as believers to mitigate this

strange dynamic that we live in as believers we are citizens of heaven but we live here on earth

for now this is a part-time life and we're heading toward the eternal life and yet at the same

time your Holy Spirit is in the life of the believer so thus we possess eternal life now but Lord

we're living it out in these earthly bodies and we groan many of us had to get Advil this

morning to come our back hurts we have headaches our joints are beginning to stiffen up or
