I think I used to put so much pressure on what church was supposed to mean to me.

Yeah, and you know Hollywood could be a very, very lonely, lonely place.

You're surrounded by so many different types of people

with different motives and different goals.

And I was struggling, and I was feeling alone,

and I was feeling lost.

Going down Hollywood and LaBraya, we'd always see all these people hanging out around 9 a.m.

And I just saw people smiling all the time.

Everybody happy.

It was like whatever they're doing there, they're doing it right because you just see all the love coming out of everyone.

I remember the first time we walked into church and I was like, what? It was just so amazing and then I realized this is an amazing family and they all believe in this church and this is somewhere I want to be

It was just so effortless to connect. And when Pastor Irwin first talked about the church staying in the heart of Hollywood,

it immediately spoke to me, okay, this is why I've always wanted to live here because I just love

the idea of someone that's maybe never even heard of Jesus or can one day be

walking down Hollywood and La Brea and see one of the

baptisms and just say man what is that why are those people so happy?

We're here to stay because we want to be at a place where we can connect as a family.

We can learn from others. They can learn from us.

And this is a place that you can be forever.
