Well, hello, my friends, and welcome to the Live Inspired podcast Monday morning moments with John

O'Leary.

I record these so that you and I can begin our days and our weeks. Yes, even this

week, the week after Thanksgiving in awe and on fire with the burst of inspiration. Let's get after

it. Entering into this Advent season, we look forward, I think collectively to the joy of the

holidays, the gift of Christmas and the promise of a new year.

And we do so by sharing a reminder today of the power of joyful awaiting.

I'm going to read to you today a short excerpt from the book in awe.

And then at the very end, I'll give you an opportunity to learn more about making a difference through the book.

Here we go, though.

Getting kids to bed can be an exhausting, time-consuming venture.

In our house, the journey begins with getting them into and then out of a bathtub from there.

hair. There's a quick straightening of the room, laying out of their clothes for the morning,

and picking out a book to read. Once in bed, we read a book, or sometimes I tell them a funny

story, and then we pray together.

While I was tucking Henry into bed recently, he attempted to stall the inevitable.

After already having just one more story, Dad, several times, I leaned over, kissed his forehead, stood up, turned off the light, and made my way out of his room.

Just a few steps down the hallway, I heard his voice call out.
