Yesterday, Louise and I were walking along the Columbia River.

There's this kind of walking trail that we go on just three blocks from our house and when we were

past people we would all move six feet apart and I still have to come up with

something better if you have any suggestions something better than happy

pandemic.

Because people are like, they're not talking to each other.

And this is what my friends in Scotland and the UK

were telling me over the weekend.

We did this Zoom conference call. It was like, yeah, we go out for a walk and people stay away

from you six feet away, but they also are afraid to talk to you. They don't even establish eye contact.

We don't know the new protocol. And so I'd just been trying to break the ice and say

a happy pandemic. One guy said yesterday he laughed and he says I've never heard

that one before. Most people laugh when I say it but kind of of dark humor, I guess, you would call it. Trying to make something

out of this incredibly gruesome situation. That's the sad and simple reality that we're all facing right now is that

insulin when he ran Eli Lilly Alex Azar the head of HHS, asked for $2 billion for personal protective equipment.

Back in February, the Trump administration cut it by 75 percent. But any anyhow as we're looking at this, you know we're all

experiencing shock and anger and frankly nightmares. I mean you know there was a

period the week before last where almost every night I was waking up in the middle of the night with bad dreams.

That's largely past. I think, you know, this is how we process stuff. I haven't had a nightmare and none of them were nightmare
