Hey, welcome to church. My name is David and we are in the incredible city of Chicago, Illinois.

0:41.0

Today, we're going to share a few moments talking about the person of Jesus, his love, his care

0:47.7

for you. And I think you're going to be encouraged today. Specifically today, we're going to talk

0:52.8

about emphasis, emphasis. And why are we going to talk about emphasis? Because I think what we

1:46.5

that Jesus himself comes up alongside of them and begins to walk with them. Now it does say

1:51.8

something really unique in the fact that God actually prevented them from seeing who it was. So he

1:56.7

was journeying with them and he asked them, what are you talking about? They turn to Jesus and say,

2:01.1

haven't you heard about the events of the day? And they go along in a conversation where they

2:05.1

tell Jesus about Jesus's death. Jesus plays along with them. And in his graciousness, he actually
