I did just real quickly want to read something that I was just reading during the break to all of you before I get to your calls.

This came from Dr. Ed.

Dr. Ed is like, you know, basically the show's documentarian.

Like he remembers every single thing that everybody says and comes back years later to remind everybody.

And he wrote, hey, Kevin, after this latest skins beat down by the Chiefs, I thought it would be fun to revisit

your comments about Mahomes and Andy Reid from Mahomes' first season as a starter back in 2018.

At the time, you were disgusted that the Monday night football broadcast complaining that Joe Tessator,

by the way, did Tessator call Monday Night Games? Did he?

Yeah, he did it with Bougar.

Yeah, yeah. God, he was, I can't do Tessitore.

Really?

I just can't do Tessitore. Every play is like the final play of the Super Bowl.

But anyway, he said at the time, you were disgusted that Monday at the Monday night

football broadcasts complaining that Joe Tessitore acted like Mahomes was already a Hall of

Famer. You said, let's pump the brakes. He's good, but he's not there yet. You also said

Mahomes wouldn't win the MVP that year, but he did. And then

came the classic Andy Reid take. You called him a creative offensive mind and a good

quarterback coach, two cuts above Jay Gruden, but limited. You said Reed always messes up

timeouts and mismanages the clock.

Tom even jumped in with, you're not getting to the Super Bowl with Andy Reed.

Well, fast forward a few years later, and both of those guys have punched their tickets to Canton.
