Hello, Lakers Nation. It's Games Day. That's right. I said games, plural. We've got Team

USA versus Australia this morning and then coming up tonight, Lakers Celtics in Summer League action.

I'm Trevor Lane. This is the Lakers Nation.com podcast. We've got a lot to talk about on today's show,

but not intending for this show to be a particularly long one. I want to get into Team USA against Australia.

We're going to talk a little bit about Lakers Celtics and Summer League action.

Then I want to talk a little bit about what are the Lakers really when we look at this roster?

Because there's different ways that you can really look at things.

So what's the truth?

What is this team actually? I want to get into that as well

because there is a surprising stat out there when you look at what happened when they actually

inserted Ruby Hachamura in the starting lineup. So I want to finish off with that. But again,

let's start here. Shouldn't be a supersized show. And part of that is because we've got Team USA versus Australia coming up not too far away here.

We saw moments where they started to really click. LeBron James and Anthony Davis. They're out there representing the Lakers. They're playing well. Great to see them out there on the floor. And I'm excited. I'm so excited for Team USA for the Olympics coming up. This is going to be a blast. Again, we're going to be covering the whole thing.

Now, the rumor is that the U.S.

is going to be changing their starting lineup that Jason Tatum will be entering the starting lineup. No problem. I mean, look, Steve Kerr, now is the time, right? Head coach Steve Kerr, now is the time to tinker. before we actually get to the Olympics,

which don't actually start up for the U.S. until the 28th,

now is the time to play around with a bunch of different lineups, experiment with things, figure out what works and what doesn't work. I still think when the dust settles, the starting lineup, it's going to include four guys. They've got four guys who are locks. And that's assuming Kevin Durant is healthy, he'll be in there. Steph Curry, LeBron James, Joelle and Mead. I think those are your four locks. And that's assuming Kevin Durant is healthy, he'll be in there. Steph Curry,
