Yeah, we're going to look at the history of the Eastern Catholic churches some of the distinctions and the differences between the Western Latin churches and what you should know.

Ryan, why want you to introduce our distinguished guest?

We have with us today Father Elias Raffa. He is a Byzantine-Ruthenian Catholic priest.

Thank you. Good to be here. He is the first Eastern Catholic that we have had on the show so that's a

distinction in our audience out there you guys have been asking us to to to kind of

bring somebody in to do this we you asked us to do this, but we couldn't do it by ourselves,

so we need some help.

Yeah, and that's where you come in, Father Life.

Well, to think about this, though, you know the universal church, you know,

breathed together with two lungs and and John Paul II described it as such and to have

you here on this show in all sincerity all joking aside is truly a

great benefit to our audience as well as to just the roundtable discussion that we're

going to have today so it's great having you yeah so so

many times people have said you guys call yourself the Catholic talk show but you

only represent the West and that is an incomplete story of what the Catholic

church is very true and they're absolutely true because we the Catholic church is. And they're absolutely true because the Catholic Church is not just the Western

Latin right. In fact, there are 23 Catholic churches in addition to the Western Latin
