co-worker of mine actually I really worked for you Howard Simon of the

WGR morning show what What's up, Howard?

You know, all those years here in Buffalo,

I don't believe you ever use the term best friend with me.

I have probably text messages to prove to the contrary.

You know, sometimes you don't always share all of your feelings about someone.

You know, sometimes it's just dudes being dudes, guys being guys.

You don't appreciate what you had Matthew until you left.

Now we're good, we're good. All is good. We're not going on wood.

We're all saying prayers. Everybody's walking around praying to the football gods today because nobody

thinking about anything but Josh Allen and praying that his elbows fine.

Yeah and we'll talk about that but I also want to start out with talking about how

weird it is that after I left the Buffalo

Bills became a Super Bowl favorite and the entire time that you and I worked

together I produced your show and various other things for a number of years that had me

popping in and out. So it must have been maybe like 2010 through 2016 and at no

point during that time where the bill's really remotely competitive.

We ran Doug Morone out of town.

Rex Ryan was just starting and the shine got worn off by the time

that I was headed out of the Rex Ryan era and it's just it's just so funny
