Let's get into the podcast. Guys, there's a reason that they call it the be attitudes,

because it's a state of being. It's not something that we do. It's a state of being. It's things

that we need to be.

The be attitudes, not the do attitudes, the be attitudes. And today we're just going to go verse

by verse and break down what each beatitude is. One of Jesus's most popular and famous sermons is

the sermon on the mount here. And imagine Jesus Christ stands up before a crowd and he's releasing the beatitudes here.

All right. Let's start in verse 3 of chapter 5 of the gospel of Matthew. Blessed are the poor and

spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
