Summary

What happens when crucial evidence in a murder case goes missing, and the jury never hears about alternative suspects? That’s the burning question at the center of Richard Allen’s fight for a new trial in the Delphi murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German. Alleging prosecutorial missteps, overlooked evidence, and destroyed recordings, Allen’s defense is pressing for the chance to revisit a verdict that may have been built on shaky ground. Could this motion for a new trial reveal critical errors, or is it just a desperate gamble? And what about the mysterious figures tied to this case—some alive, others not—that were never introduced at trial? Will these threads finally be unraveled in an appeals court?
