Aleppo, where you're based right now, and we've been monitoring some of the most intense fighting there

since the end of the Civil War that toppled Bashar al-Assad in December of 2024.

So it's been over a year now.

So for five days, the Syrian military battled against the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces or SDF,

and it's been deadly.
