So welcome to the podcast. My name is Douglas Wilson. This is episode 378. 378. So the thing I want to talk about here is, well, just drum our fingers on the table metaphorically for a minute, and say something like, so, what about those Epstein files?

What about those Epstein files?

What's going on with those?

Now, for people who are, you know, who've had it up to their chins with all the folly and the nonsense of the Biden administration,

a lot of the things that are being done by the Trump administration are like Christmas every morning. You know, you wake up and you're happy with this,

and you're happy with that, and you're happy with the other thing. And depending on who you are

and where you're coming from, yeah, there may be the occasional outrageous thing that's done or

said or something you differ with.

You've got a different view of tariffs, for example.

But by and large, the rooting out of waste, fraud, and abuse under Doge has been just a great blessing.

The fact that there are a lot of things that are going on that are just

make us all happy, right? And there were promises made that the Epstein files would be released.

And then there was the fake release, not the fake, it wasn't fake, but the very, very partial photo op release of

Epstein files being given to conservative influencers, and then it turned out that what was in

those files was already known, largely. And then Attorney General Pam Bondi found out, or said she found out,

that the New York office of the FBI was sitting on a bunch of these files, demanded that they

be turned over to her, and they were, you know, they begrudgingly, it appears, the Epstein files were handed over to her.

And since that time, we've not really heard a peep. There's not been a peep.

Now, let's say, and let's just, I just want to view this as sort of a political chess game here without judging anything.

If Trump continues to do things that make conservatives really, really happy, all right, if he does that, then I don't think the pressure will build to demand

the release of the Epstein files. There will be some grumbling like what I'm doing now. So, hey, where are these

files? But it seems apparent. basically, if the files get released,
