It's natural to wake up with our thoughts focused on ourselves, but if we're

constantly wrapped up in only what we want, what we think, and how we feel, we'll

never be happy. True joy comes from living with a mindset focused on other people.

Now here's Joyce with today's teaching.

Philippians chapter 4 verse 5.

We're so afraid if we don't take care of ourselves, nobody will.

And you know, I'm not going to tell you that God will do exactly what you want, when you want it.

There may be a test. There may have to be some patience involved. Don't think for

one minute that you won't be tried and tested because the enemy is going to try to

make you think you need to take the project back over because God's not moving.

And that's when you need to say, no, I don't care how long it takes.

I do not care how long it takes.

I'm not going to spend my life trying to take care of myself.

I have deposited myself with God and I'm not going to go get myself back. Let all men know and perceive and recognize your unselfishness.

I think it's the greatest witness that we can have to the world.

Your considerateness, your forbearing spirit, the Lord is near, he's coming soon.

I love that. You know what it's time it's time for a

change. Jesus is coming soon. We have a short window of time to really impact the world with our

witness and we can't do it being selfish, self-centered little baby brat Christians.

And I'm talking to me as well as you.
