What's the day?

What sort of days it'd been? Well, it started off in a frenzy, basically, of speculation

about Boris Johnson's future, and whether enough MPs would have submitted letters, 54,

to start a vote of no confidence in him.

And then there was a detour of via a Conservative MP leaving the Conservatives to join Labour.

That was pretty dramatic. But I think Wednesday has ended with maybe Boris Johnson's position

looking less insecure than it did at the start of the day. And we'll talk about all the

days events on this episode of newscast.

Newscast from the BBC, that will take some time before we figure out what our new normal

is. Now, if that is the argument, then we are going into unprecedented territory.
