My name is Danielle Minero, and over the past few episodes of Behind the Magic,

I have been lucky enough to interview cast members from Aladdin and the Lion King.

And during those interviews, we have heard the names of these two ladies come up a lot.

The hair and makeup supervisors that make the vision come to life.

They are so important to the Disney Magic.

We've got makeup, we've got wigs, we've got styling, we've got glitter.

We're going to talk about that.

And they do so much.

And I'm so excited to have with me today.

Cheryl Thomas, also known as Aunt Cheryl,

she is the hair and makeup supervisor for Aladdin on Broadway. Welcome. Thank you. And Elizabeth Cohen, she is the production makeup supervisor for the Lion King on Broadway. Welcome.

Thank you. Thank you guys. I know you guys are so busy, so I really appreciate you taking the time to hang out with me today.

So we're going to talk about what makes the magic behind the scenes with the makeup, with the hair, all of those things.

So we're going to start out a little bit about you guys, where you guys came from.

So Cheryl, I know that you're from Atlanta originally.

You also work on some other shows.

You've worked with James Brown.

You've worked with TLC, Outcast.

You've styled Miss Piggy,

which we are going to have to talk about later on in the episode.

So how did you find your way to New York?
