No matter who the owner may be, there is one inalienable rule to baseball and that's that there are highs and lows to every season. No matter how good or bad a team is you can almost always pencil in 70 wins and 70 losses. Those extra 22 are what determines the cream of the crop. This week was a perfect example of that. Our starting pitching was pumping on all cylinders and the team was cruising to back-to-back series wins only to run into the down-on-their-luck Cubs who promptly handed our asses to us. That's baseball Suzyn, you can only hope that the losses are few and far between. KFC jumps on a grenade for his "guy" JD Davis and proclaims he's ready to ride with him until the wheels fall off (which they may have these past two games), we highlight a special father-daughter moment and Clem tells the "sky is falling" fanbase to chill out. We gotta believe that this past game will be the worst of the season. It has to be if we want to accomplish our goals, but that doesn't mean we have to win them all. Baseball is a game of gives and takes, we just need to make sure we're the takers. Now that's some smiles and cries for your ass.
