0:15.4

All right. So at 352 here, Friday, July 31st, 2017,

0:19.5

you're telling me Cespitis to the Mets.

0:20.7

You're telling me Cespitis is a man. I'm not telling you anything. Ernie's giving a thumbs up. What do you got there, Aaron? I'm telling you what Rosenthal tweeted. Endbuster only and this Bruce Levine guy. That's what you say, McManagall? That's what you're saying, Chris? There you go. They're saying for what? Yeah, we need to know for who? No, they're not saying for what yet. All right. See, that actually would excite me, but I'm not. I'm not excited, but I'm not excited at all. What? Because I'm not. Because until I see it actually officially happened, I will not believe. I don't believe it until I, because I thought I had Gomez yesterday. I did a cartwheel.

2:36.2

Yeah. officially happened. I will not believe. I don't believe it until I, because I thought I had Gomez in there. I did a cartwheel. Yeah, no, I did too. I'm not doing any caught wheels now. I'm with you. You know what this, you know what scares me? Remember, and we were on the air for this, a few years ago, the Nets traded for Gerald Wallace right before the death. I remember that. And you said, bro, Gerald's a good player, man. You should be excited. I said, let me see what they gave up. And they gave up an unprotected pick. Right, right. So, you know, that's my concern. What's the package back? Nobody is reporting what they're saying. Well, we found out it was Michael Fulmer. So we were okay with him. Joe met the Cespiteous trade with heavy skepticism. He doesn't want to be put out there. I think that's what it is. He doesn't want to get all excited and then be fooled. And that's what happened to all of us two days earlier. So part of that saga, the magic of 2015 is the Mets traded for Carlos Gomez. And the guys they were giving up, ready for this package? Wilmer Flores, who eventually cried. And Zach Wheeler were going to Milwaukee and injured Zach Wheeler was going to Milwaukee for Carlos Gomez. And then the Mets backed out of the trade because of Gomez's medicals. I was pissed about it. Joe was pissed about it. So were most Mets fans. It turned out to be the greatest thing ever. And then the magic happened. Now, two days earlier, almost the anniversary, the Mets had a meltdown where they lost to the Padres. They were one out away from beating the Padres. And it was pouring rain. and they had just come back from a rain delay, and then they restarted the game. And Jayris Familiar gave up a three-run home rent to Justin Upton. And it was... Are you drawing parallels? Kind of! But here's the real question. Go ahead. Who's the UN assessment that you're getting? I don't think there is one. Exactly. I don't think there is one. Why are you trying to draw parallels or something that can't happen?

2:32.2

I'm drawing parallels to be in a giant camp with you 10 years later. Okay. That's the parallel. I did find the audio of the day that we watched Justin Upton hit the three-run home run. Would you like to hear a meltdown live on the radio? Sure. Do you remember this, Sean? Were you listening back then?

2:35.0

Yes, I was in the newsroom preparing for an evening show producing.

2:53.2

Did you enjoy the tears from John? Meltdown live on the radio? Sure. Do you remember this, Sean? Were you listening back then? Yes, I was in the newsroom preparing for an evening show producing.

2:47.6

Did you enjoy the tears from Joe and I that day? Of course. It was the best. Now, here it is. Joe and I reacting to a Justin Upton kicking the you-know-what three-run home run in the middle of the afternoon. The options aren't good. He was already out of the game.

2:48.7

He already helped blow it already.

2:49.4

I get it.

3:07.6

The options aren't good, but this is not something Jay Ruse familiar or any pitchers used to. Somebody's got to close his game down. So you just kept them in? You know, I don't know. I know the options aren't good. I'm scared where I'm going. I mean, where am I going here? You're looking for one out. Uh-oh. Justin up into deep light center. It's gone. Oh, my God. It's gone.

3:08.5

Oh, my God. here. You're looking for one out. Uh-oh. Justin Upton to Deep-Its

3:24.2

Not gone.

3:24.9

It's gone.

3:25.3

Oh, my God.

3:26.1

It's gone.

3:27.1

Oh, my God.

3:28.4

Are you kidding me?

3:30.0

This is like a bad movie.
