What the hell is Woody Johnson thinking?

Boy, Jeff Fands, I feel badly for you because the reality is, well, I mean, I guess you

could eventually win in spite of the owner, but the reality is, and you know this,

Woody Johnson is the problem here. I mean, Woody Johnson going out there last night talking to the media for the first time,

you know, since the season has ended here miserably and completely ignoring the fact that he's got an inept head coach and throwing the backup quarterback

their number two pick a few years ago under the bus. I mean, dude, the reason the Jets failed this

year is not because they didn't have a backup quarterback. Woody, the reason your team

failed is because you invested in a 40-year-old quarterback. You built the whole thing around him,

and he went down for the count, and you had a head coach and a general manager that were inept

and couldn't adjust. It is not on Zach Wilson. It is not the

backup quarterback. It's the whole thing. And for Woody to minimize the bigger issues is, is alarming.

It's even actually worse than I thought with woody he thinks that rogers

is going to come back and everything's going to be a okay and that they need to just get a backup

yeah okay like in the event rogers goes down the jet's going to be okay with a serviceable backup

that's not the reality and i hope that that the majority of Jeff fans listening to this

don't believe that as well. I get that you want to believe that your team could be good if they

lose Rogers. You saw the reality. You can't. They're not. They're not good enough. They

didn't run the ball well and up. The offensive line was shit. The defense was overrated.
