And I'm Guy Raz, and it's back to school week here in the Wee Wow Laboratory of Bad Ideas.

That's right.

Each day this week, we're sharing one of our favorite episodes of Wow in the world to help get you back in the school spirit.

But that's not all.

Every day this week will also share a new tinkering challenge for you to try while you listen.

Today's episode is all about birds.

And how they learn from each other.

And while we listen, we're going to have some fun with feathers.

This is a challenge you can do with your family, friends, or even your entire class.

We call it the fluffy feather relay race.

The object of this race is to walk an entire race course of your own creation,

all while balancing a feather on a spoon.

First person to reach the finish line without dropping their feather

wins the challenge.

For this challenge, you'll need one feather per team, a spoon and four cones or objects to help mark the race course.

And speaking of race course, step one is setting it up. You can do this indoors or outdoors and it can be as simple as a large rectangle.
