Leading scorer Taz Sherman's status for Saturday's game against No. 14 Texas Tech is day-to-day after suffering a concussion Monday at Baylor.

The question is how WVU will respond. Six straight losses have dropped West Virginia into last place in the Big 12 standings. However, a win Saturday over the Red Raiders and a home date next Tuesday against Iowa State could resurrect the Mountaineers' season.
