Let's begin with the term, satanic, panic.

Most of you have probably already heard about this. I know I'm quite familiar with it because during my very early years

this was all that the many talk shows covered. I grew up and continue to live right on that blurred

line of the middle and what is actually considered part of the South. The saying goes,

there are three churches to every business.

When I was a kid, I heard the rumblings of satanic panic. It's a phenomenon characterized by

widespread fear about the presence of satanic ritual abuse in your community, your state, and sometimes the whole world depending

on who you talk to.

This began in the 70s, but the fear got completely out of control during the 80s and 90s.

People believed that there was this vast underground network of Satanists that were in control of secular society.

And side note, the vast majority of people that actually practice Satanism are not evil,

violent, dangerous people.

Most of them aren't get educated.

But regardless, the panic seems to have lost a lot of its steam

in the 2000s. So I can actually give you an example of this story from my own life.
