And to my right, we have philanthropist, entrepreneur, author, friend, and now running for Governor of Maryland, Mr. Wes Moore. Welcome, Wes. My guy, it's good to be with y'all. It's good to be in the boardroom. It's good to be in the boardroom indeed, man. And thank you for coming to New York for this. Of course. A lot going on. A lot going on with you. I was looking kind of at your history outside of what I know of you

as a friend and at 43 years old is pretty insane what you've accomplished. I assume you love

your life. I love my life, man. I'm, I'm, I'm, as the expression goes, I am blessed and

highly favored. You know what I am blessed and highly favored. I do.

So I like to think I've done a lot.

I'm 45.

But when I saw the amount of books you've put out, organizations you've run, TV shows, fought

in the military, which we'll get into and now obviously running for governor, you're a family man,

was doing a lot and being successful and being driven something that was kind of born into?

Like, was it the landscape of your home? I know you lost your father when you were young,

but was the idea of like you need to accomplish a lot? Was that something that was part of your childhood?

Yeah.

You know, it's interesting because I think that I did.

I mean, I learned early and unfortunately often just about this reminder of life's in

permanence.
