My name is Cameron Butler, and this is the What If It's True podcast.

I want to give you an update on the podcast.

We started this show October the 4th, 2020, and we're just about at the 6th month mark.

When I first started this podcast, I had no idea how these web type podcasts, how to

measure how well it was doing, but I read several articles from everything I could gather.

If a podcast could get 7,500 to 8,000 downloads per podcast, they were in the top 10 percent

of podcasts.

Now keep in mind there are probably more than a million podcasts out there right now.

At the end of 6 months, we have, I'm looking at my analytics right now, we have 101,000 downloads.

So if you divide that by 6, we're hitting about 16,000 downloads per month average.

Now there are times where I may go a month without uploading a podcast due to my work schedule

and things like that, but I'm so happy with the performance of this podcast, and I want

to let you know how much I appreciate you listening to this podcast.

There's no money in it.

We do have an affiliate sponsor now, Yeti Bars.

We're not really making any money off that.

We're mainly trying to help these guys get their business rolling, and we feel like they

have such a good product that as time rolls on, if they'll stick with us, we can help them

with sales, and we might get some benefit from helping them sell their products.

Soaps and lotions and they're just good people, and that's the reason I wanted to team up

with them.

But I want to give you a report on that.
