Welcome to the Peter King Podcast, after really one of the most eventful weeks that I remember in recent NFL history.

I mean, how in the world did the New York Giants win in Seattle with

Saquon Berkeley and Daniel Jones not playing in the game.

I mean you're going to have to do a deep dive on that Mr and Mrs.

Analytics.

And then obviously, how did Washington beat Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh?

And I'll tell you what, we're going to talk about Pittsburgh in a second,

but wow, that was a real weird one but anyway we're going to get to some of the

news of the week our guests this week great co sell of NFL Films does a fantastic job of breaking down the good and the bad in film study of NFL players.

He's going to be along to dissect why Carson Wentz is not going to be

the quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles when they face the New Orleans Saints this weekend and why Jaylin

hurts will be. And also we'll get to Mike Sando, my friend, my compatriot, who works at the athletic. He does a Monday column just like I do.

Only I just get so much out of his column. I love his columns because they're so thoughtful, they're so different.

And he wrote something this week when I read it during the day on Monday, I said, I got to get him on the podcast.

Because he wrote about how, if you're a team with an under 500 record,

would you rather make the playoffs even as a fourth seed in the playoffs or would you rather have a draft pick that would be 10 or 12 spots higher in the first round.

And I read that and I said,

I want to make the playoffs.

Are you kidding me?

So Mike and I will get into that.
