Wendy Williams as she tried to stage a career comeback.

Instead, they wound up documenting Williams as she struggled with alcohol addiction, serious health ailments, and financial issues.

And just a couple of days before the documentary aired, we learned that Williams has been diagnosed

with aphasia and fronto-temporal dementia.
