Welcome to Wellness Unmas. I'm Dr. Nicole Sapphire, and this is your weekly rundown.

0:05.4

This week, the spotlight was all on the Pentagon Athletic Center, where Defense Secretary Pete

0:10.4

Heggseth and Health Secretary Robert F.K. Jr. went head-to-head in what they call the P. and Bobby

0:16.5

challenge. The task, 100 push-ups and 50 pull-ups. While Hegset clocked in around five minutes

0:23.3

and 25 seconds, RFK Jr. at, I want to say, 71 years old, finished close behind him in just

0:30.6

under six minutes. Impressive by any standard, but the real star for me was Marine Sergeant

0:36.8

who demolished the challenge in two

0:39.0

minutes and 43 seconds. Well done, boys. You all did great. We know you're strong. We know

0:44.9

you have a good core. You have a good cardiovascular reserve. This was part of the administration's

presidential fitness test in schools and relaunching the President's Council on sports, fitness, and

1:07.8

nutrition. And I fully support this. I will say that maybe the 100 pushups and

1:13.8

50 pull-ups are a little exclusionary in the sense that not everyone's going to be able to do this.

1:20.0

I think this is great for social media and bringing a spotlight on physical fitness.

1:24.0

But maybe we could, I don't know, why don't we get to 50 pushups and 10 pull-ups?

1:29.0

That's a great place for people to start. Please, if you are able to do even 10 push-ups

1:34.4

and five pull-ups posted online, I think it is great to get people involved. The second thing I

1:39.9

want to talk about today is the fact that the American Academy of Pediatrics has broken with the CDC

1:45.4

and offered their own recommendations when it comes to the COVID vaccine in kids. Why does this

1:51.0

matter? Well, the AAP and the CDC are usually in lockstep together. The CDC recently updated

1:57.7

their recommendations with the COVID vaccine and essentially said it should be a
