Morning everybody, welcome along.

It's your first podcast of the week.

It's Monday, the 29th of April and I.

I simply remember there are 30 days in April.

So tomorrow's the last day and then we're into, Lord, honestly, we're moving to May.

But yesterday, they did us proud.

Oh, yes, they did.

Because of course it was the London Marathon

and we knew a number of people who were running, I think over

40,000 people hit the streets and among them of course

Scott Mitchell who was doing his first ever

marathon. He's never done a marathon before. He's done the half marathon

but that was his first half marathon as well.

And so they raised £100,000 and they'd been married, oh dear, I think 19, 20 years. And it was also his 56th birthday.

Natalie Cassidy and Tanya Franks was there and it was just great.

So the 39th London Marathon and at the end we caught up with Scott and he had just a few words to say.

I'll tell you, it was just absolutely amazing.

It was beyond what I thought it was going to be.

It felt incredibly painful at times but exhilarating at the same time and the crowd were absolutely incredible and you're at lBC and i'd like to say Steve allen in particular thank you so

much for all your support and the rest of lbc but it was incredible. And the crowds just carry you round.
