Today's tip is to think about your next 8,784 hours. There are normally 8,760 hours in a year, but this episode is airing at the start of a leap year.

So we get an extra 24 hours to play with. 8,784 hours is a lot of time, if not an infinite amount of time, so it is worth thinking about the best ways to experience it.

So I know that at the start of each new stretch of time, I picture it as somewhat like a blank page. Eventually

this page and really my entire book of hours will be filled. We will be on the other side of this time and it will have been

filled with something. But what it is filled with is at least partially up to us.

I think that's kind of exciting.

With 8,784 as the denominator, we can start thinking about the various numerators that tend to go into life.

I know I tend to work about 35 hours a week on average. If I do that 50 weeks this year that is 1,750

hours. 1,750 is approximately 20% of 8,784 hours.

What can I do in those 1,750 hours? That is more than enough time to write a book, though it is probably not
