Hello, everyone, and welcome to With Pace.

Rather than a typical interview style weekly episode, we decided to record a little

introduction to what we'll be doing here moving forward.

For six years, which is 312 weeks, we've published over 320 episodes of The Adventure Stash.

And it's grown immensely. It's turned into a business for the three of us. My sister,

Lily, wife, Nicole, and me, and really taken on a life of its own. So you might be asking why a change now. I think the easiest

way to put it is honestly since that very first episode with Reggie Miller back in 2019, this side

project has been just one long string of ideas and a bunch of kind of what if we tried this is uh should we try going in

this directions and some of them we did do we did you know quarantine companion with just

williams we did the series with. We tried some different stuff on YouTube

to varying effectiveness,

but most of the time we just very simply

haven't had the time.

But, you know, just being a full-time bike racer

is in a lot of ways what makes this podcast what it is. The guest access I have, the insights I have,

etc. is really what makes the podcast what it is. But it also means that very often there just

aren't enough hours in the day to execute on the ideas we have for the podcast. One day, when I'm

done racing full time, I think it very likely that we will expand our efforts

here in a really big way.

But for now, we need to be selective and just kind of scrappy and go for quality over quantity.

And so, yeah, I guess that said, I've felt for a long time that we could have done a better job of making sure the brand of the podcast matches the content.

And to this day, I really can't remember where the name The Adventure Stash came from.
