I am glad to know that you are still alive.

You know, friends, we're recording today, we're going live today early because, one, we didn't want to wait until, until Friday, because a lot has happened.

And Waj and I really wanted to be in conversation.

So this is our show today.

But I'm going to ask you, It is now two days removed.

How are you processing?

So I think for those who tune into democracy-ish,

I hope you appreciate that we've always been honest with you.

And also, for those of you join us from the Mary Trump's Nerd Avengers,

you probably see from our melanin that Dalia Danielle is a black woman and a queer woman, a daughter of immigrants.

I am a brown man, a Muslim American, the son of Pakistani immigrants.

And as we join the Avengers and we join coalitions, oftentimes what we do is we bring in

the perspective of something called Bipak, which sounds like, you know, a Terminator that's come

from the future. But maybe we come from the future to warn people because our people have

experienced a type of America that loves us, that even though

that we love it, it doesn't love us back.

And even though we fight for it, doesn't fight for us.

And we have certain perspectives and certain grievances and certain insights into this country
