CoinDesk tech journalist Sam Kessler and Margo Nykirk to walk you through the latest news

and developments in technology behind crypto and blockchains. The different test nets have like

different capabilities. I think Sepolia is the one that focuses more on applications

and Gurley is like more of a dress rehearsal for Mainnet because in terms of size it's bigger. And so

they want to replace Gurley because they want a new test net that's actually bigger than Mainnet so that

when they make these big protocol changes and there are more validators in these

test nets, that when it hits main net and which is a smaller amount of validators, if there

are any hiccups in the bigger validator set, then it would run more smoothly anyway.
