Welcome to the pit.

Today we are humbled to be joined by Bachelor Data, aka Susanna. Susanna is a technology director

for an entire school district in Massachusetts by day, and by night, she is one of the most

influential voices in the emerging next era of Bachelor coverage as sport. Susanna, aka

Susanna, thank you so much for being with us here in the pit. Thanks for having me. I'm

excited to have you. There are very few people who have the capability of discussing and

describing the game at a level this high, and it always feels like when you get to

talk to somebody who's able to do it, that you are finally able to speak this language

fluently that no one else can even fucking understand, or even those exists for that matter.

So for those of you that don't know, Bachelor Data does an incredible statistical analysis

of screen time, favorable versus unfavorable race representation in different segments

of the show and screen time given how it relates to Instagram movements and Instagram movements

compared from season to season over the past three years-ish or so. Even things like breaking

down if it's good or bad for you to have the last one on one date in a season. And it

turns out that's about 50-50. That's kind of a crap shoot, you know, which is interesting.

I think there are some other metrics that could be applied to that, which we can get into.
