I won't tell you that it's gonna be you're going to tell you that it's gonna be your

welcome to another episode of the Bakari Sellers Podcast. It is the beginning of an

amazing week because you know we have the Democratic National Convention

this week. But today's episode I'll be interviewing my favorite Twitter family, also known as the

Cahive, the digital army that has developed organically in support of senator and now

a vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

You know, this is an amazing episode where we get the highlights and

voices that you see, but you may not know.

And right in line with what we try to do on the Bakari Sellers podcast is just educate, expose, lift up,

and power and give people a chance to share voices they may not otherwise hear.

One of the reasons I'm a card-carrying member of the

CAF myself is because they've always been on the front lines of fighting

misinformation online. Now we all know in 2016 that Russian interference and disinformation shaped the

perception of Secretary Clinton and we certainly know now that the perception

drove votes in turn and gave us the monstrosity of a president that we are now suffering and literally

dying from. Unsurprisingly, we saw the disinformation campaign in the primary target Senator

Harris and Vice President Biden, particularly with

black voters. Now I thought long and hard about this and in this introduction

I wanted to tackle how I think we should think about this.

There are legitimate critiques on criminal justice, for example,

to be had of anyone's record,

whether that be Senator Harris, Senator Sanders or Vice President Biden.
