Hi guys this is Sarah and Whitney welcome back to preview alliance this is our

podcast section so we're gonna start with welcome to preview alliance and

kind of tell you a little bit about what it is.

So what Previously Alliance is, Sarah had actually reached out to me

because she had a personal experience with postpartum anxiety

and postpartum depression.

And my name is Whitney. I am a licensed clinical social worker a maternal

mental health specialist in mom of two and so we really wanted to come

together and create a preview Alliance as a resource for moms so that you have a connection

to videos and these podcasts and a therapist in screening so that if you struggle at any point in time in your postpartum journey you kind of have these things at your fingertips.

Exactly.

I, when I had my first son, Will, which you can read a little bit more on the website

about, I was very new to postpartum depression, to think. which you can read a little bit more on the website about.

I was very new to post-partum depression, to therapy,

and after my personal experience, I'm a huge fan.

And so when I found Whitney and knew how passionate she is

about helping moms, and we're true believers here

a preview alliance that moms need support moms and we need to have open and

honest conversations about what pregnancy is what postpartum is and all the feelings that go along.

Absolutely because it's new to everybody whether it's your first child or your

10th child you never really know how that postpartum journey is going to affect you.

You could have a traumatic delivery at any point in time.
