Well, hey, everybody. Welcome to the very first edition of Overreaction Monday, the podcast

0:07.2

along with Chris Brockman. I am your humble host, Rich Eisen along with Chris every single

0:12.2

Monday, not just on the Rich Eisen show doing this segment highly popular on our daily

0:17.8

program, but we are bringing it to everybody in podcast form through the Cumulus podcast

0:23.4

network, wherever you get your podcasts, every single Monday throughout the NFL playing

0:29.2

season. And for those who might be new to this thing, where you've been, that's number

0:33.8

one. Number two, what we do here on the program every single day, chopping it up, chopping

0:41.7

up what everybody's talking about. We constructed this overreaction Monday segment at the very

1:03.7

1:08.4

middle, but sometimes what people are overreacting to is the appropriate reaction. So what we've

1:14.6

done every single Monday. And again, we appreciate everybody taking in this segment on the

1:19.1

Rich Eisen show, making it popular enough for a podcast version of it to be possible. What

1:24.8

we will do is just kind of do what we normally do run through the overreaction headlines,

1:31.5

except doing it just five or six headlines. We're going to make it a podcast for super size

1:35.9

rich. We got 12 on this episode. And this is an episode normally what we'll do is overreact

1:43.3

to subject matters based on that weekend's events that just conclude exactly. But because

1:49.3

the NFL season has yet to begin, we're going to treat this one out on this Labor Day as

1:56.6

a season preview over reacting to all the story lines that have been accumulating, percolating,
