Hey, good to meet you, Derek. And Derek said, hey, do you want to be here when we rebuild and lose 100 games every year? Yellich said no. And Jeter said no problem.

Whether it's contract situations. You think Pooholes was dying to move to California from St. Louis?

I'll tell you we were negotiating with Pooholes and his wife wouldn't let him sign with the Marlins because she was too nervous about what he'd be like on South Beach.

There's some pretty beautiful people in California, Mrs. Pooholes. So I guess it turns out you guys just wanted the extra $39 million that we didn't offer.

Or whether it's front office strategy. My experience tells me, tanking guarantees you nothing if you don't have the proper people making decisions and that dolphins do not have the proper people making decisions.
