I'm your host, Adam Todd Brown.

I'm going it alone this week for the official third installment of our deep dive into the theory that Jonestown was secretly a CIA

medical experiment. Sure, we're taking the long way around here. So far, we've done an overview of the official version of events on the first episode.

The second episode was about Operation Paperclip, which is an American intelligence project

that brought Nazi researchers and scientists and their families to the United States after World War II.

In between those episodes and this one, we've also done some bonus episodes.

One was about Unit 731, which is another set of shady scientists and researchers

we absorbed into the American government after World War II, except that group was from Japan.

And then last week, we updated one of our early episodes about M.K. Ultra, a project that was

born out of those collaborations with Nazi scientists. And those updates were all about

the kind of weird circumstances behind the publishing of the book was Jonestown, a CIA medical

experiment, and the author of the book, who is very hard to track down. If you can even do it at all,
