We are still, as you might imagine, in the middle of our ongoing coverage of Election 2020.

And if you've been watching NBC's coverage, you know we have been drinking from a firehose

with election results.

So I just wanted to let you know that we're actually going to have the Todd cast, a little

later in the week when we've got more numbers to talk about.

And when Chuck Todd can finally break away from what feels like his, I don't know, 45th,

46th consecutive hour on TV.

But you're here and you're probably here because you want some numbers.

So let's do a mini The Lid from Meet the Press.

Here is a lot this November 4th about the 2020 election that we do not know.

For example, at this hour, we don't know who actually won the presidential election.

Or what the balance of power in the Senate will be.

Let's run through a few things that we do know.

One, Democrats certainly did not get the resounding repudiation of Donald Trump that they wanted.

Their ideal case scenario was having definitive clarity on election night that Biden won and

had built a sturdy and durable coalition.

Now, there are lots of votes still being counted, but that hasn't happened, at least not

yet.
