Hi friends, we talk a lot around here about being a genius about what matters and lazy about what doesn't. And most days, that looks like pretty ordinary things. What's for dinner, how we're spending our time, what we're saying yes and no to. But every once in a while, what matters isn't a task at all. It's a question that won't leave you alone. What am I doing with my life? Is this still working for me? Is it time for something to change?

0:21.2

Those kinds of questions can feel a little disorienting. There's not really a system for them. They just ask you to pay attention and maybe be a little braver than you feel. In seasons like that, I'm always grateful for voices that feel steady and honest. So I wanted to share a podcast you might want to add to your rotation. It's called Becoming You, hosted by Susie Welch. She's a three-time New York Times bestselling author and teaches at NYU, and she's spent a long time studying how we make decisions and how we figure out what really matters. But what I like is how she talks about those things in a way that feels human. If you're in the middle of a question that you can't quite answer yet, this might be a helpful voice to sit with you for a bit. You can find Becoming You with Susie Welch wherever you listen to podcasts.
