It is the human condition for so many of us to end up in a life that we are not the authors of

that our parents or our teachers or our bosses or our culture have written the story for us

and we are fitting ourselves into it.

It does not have to be that way. Everyone said,

you're going to be an entrepreneur. I was like, I don't have to be an entrepreneur. I'm Susie Welch,

where you are writing the narrative of your life. I'm so happy every day. I realize that I have to figure out what I want to do in order to be successful that might not look like I thought it would for my whole childhood.
